30th Annual Conference on Youth

  • Allen County War Memorial Coliseum (map)

Applying Positive Youth Development Research and Practices

The Annual Conference on Youth emerged from Allen Superior Court, Family Relations Division’s desire that all agencies working with children and families and the court operate within the same strengths-based philosophy. In 1990, the Court offered its first Annual Conference on Youth on PFW’s campus.

Since then the Conference has grown to over 1400 participants and is currently held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. This yearly training, funded in part by a grant from Foellinger Foundation, brings in top professionals in the field of youth and family services to train area workers on strengths-based practices.
