 Paul LeBuffe, M; Co-Director, The Devereux Center for Resilient Children

Paul LeBuffe, M.A., is Co- Director of the Devereaux Center for Resilient Children of the Devereux Foundation. Mr. LeBuffe is an author of the Devereux Behavior Rating Scale - School Form, the Devereux Scales of Mental Disorders, the DSMD Scoring Assistant computer program and, most recently, the Devereux Early Childhood Assessment (DECA), the Devereux Early Childhood Assessment Clinical Form (DECA-C) and the Devereux Infant & Toddler (DECA-I/T). His major research interests are the measurement and promotion of resilience in young children, psychometrics and test development, treatment outcomes evaluation in behavioral healthcare, and suicide prevention education. 

Mr. LeBuffe is a Certified QPR/QPRT Suicide Prevention Master Trainer and Instructor. Mr. LeBuffe has a bachelor's degree in Human Development from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a Master's of Arts in Experimental Psychology from Byrn Mawr College. He is a member of the Nemours Foundation Blue Ribbon Committee on Children's Mental Health, the American Association on Mental Retardation, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the American Association on Suicidology, the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists. He lives in Downingtown, PA with his wife, Penny, a special education teacher.
